League Rules

Welcome to PC Sports NCAA 2020

Commissioners: tradingpost & hitter

League concept is originated from the Recruiting feature on old EA Sports NCAA football games

NCAA setup will consist of conferences including the Big Ten, SEC, & ACC. 10 Teams in each conference(30 Teams). With additional interest we will expand these

Regular season- Regular season will consist of 56 games.

Schedule consists of 4 game series in conference
2 Series simmed per day
Every team will play a home/home 3 games series with their conference rivals. Teams will play 2 non conference games
There will be no Sims after game 16, 32, and 48 to calculate recruit points earned.

Following the regular season, we will do a Conference Tournament which will be followed by a Double Elimination Tourney to determine the College World Series winner

here are the steps from beginning to season end
1. last seasons championship
2. graduates removed and player progression
3. Freshman draft
4. Transfers/drops (max of 2 each season)
5. regular season play
6. conference tournament
6. In season recruiting auction
7. College World Series
8. end of year

-Conference Tournaments
Conference Tourney Seeds will be based on Conference Rankings. Games will be 3 games series single elimination. Winners will be awarded a trophy and be the top seeds in the CWS. These seeds will be ordered by Power Ranking. CT will appear as Regular Season games on the schedule to avoid confusion from the CWS

-Championship College World Series
Double Elimination tournament, every team plays.
These will start as 3 game series. Later games will be 5 game series
Seeds based on win, then run differential, head to head for tie breakers. Conference tournament winners will receive Highest Seeding. After Round 1, teams will split into a Winners and Losers Bracket. Winners of these 2 brackets will play for in the Finals for the College World Series Champion.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Players
League is made up of all fictional players ages 18-21
players retire when they hit age 22 aka graduate
new incoming freshman will be created as 18 year olds
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Rosters
35 players max
27 player Varsity max
8 player JV max

-Redshirts
Every Team can select 2 freshman to Red Shirt. These players cannot be used in a regular season or playoff game or they will lose this tag and eligibility. A tag will be placed on them and their age will be rolled back to 17. These selections must be given to commissioners prior to the start of the season

-Trading/Transfers
Trading within league can be 2 deals per team but must be 1 for 1. Transfers must be done before season starts.

-Drug Busts, Domestic Violence, & Accepting $$$
Up to 2 players may be dropped before the season starts every year for players getting in trouble with the law or accepting money from boosters. Seniors are not eligible

-Secondary Position Changes
Every owner is entitled to 1 Secondary position changes per season. Changes must be made before the start of the season. Use this wisely!!

-Pitching Rotation
League uses a 4-man starting rotation

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-RECRUITMENT DRAFT
After each season ends, each team will have 4 recruitment selections
The draft class will consist of total teams x 4 rounds for a total of X players. An additional 50+ players will be created to add to free agents or to fill rosters. No editing will be done to these random creations. Random Progression will be used. Commissioners may decrease/increase numbers of rounds depending on recruits left available.

Top Teams generally get the better recruits so winning more games will grant them more $$$ for the recruit auction during the tournaments.
draft rounds will be in reverse order of standings with one round drafted by pre ranking daily. Commissioners may reserve the right to hold a live draft
