7/12/2020Statement from Braves GMRitzCards2
Congrats to Braves Nation on our recent championship. We couldn’t have done it without the support of our fans across the nation. It is a bittersweet celebration for me, personally. All good things must come to an end, and my tenure as Braves GM is no different.

I don’t like leaving PC teams hanging without a GM, and I don’t like leaving a bad team behind to be filled. Therefore, now is the time to hand this team off to an energized GM… I’m feeling a bit like our CF Cody Bellinger… old and approaching the time to be put to pasture.

To borrow from Lou Gehrig: “Today I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of this earth. I have been in MLB: The True Experience ballparks for three seasons and have never received anything but kindness and encouragement from you fans.”

(That might be a bit dramatic.) That said, there is a willing and capable GM ready to fill my shoes. He has the energy and enthusiasm I had in my early days here, and I am confident he can take the team to new heights. He has learned to play PC the right way… cut his teeth in the auto leagues, started winning there, and then ventured into custom leagues. I am excited to see what he does with this team and I wish him, Braves Nation, and the rest of MLB True Experience much success in the years to come.

It's been fun!

Note: He has agreed to pay me 10x the franchise fee that I paid to get into this league. I intend to donate all of that extra money to youth programs across the country.

I have Curry right now and my team went 33-7 grabbed the 1st seed and won 2 games to enter the finals so 35-7 right now.

This is the only time I have ever had Curry but still I feel confident in saying it is shooting a lay-up with Curry,a contested lay-up but still a lay-up.

Curry is the best player in the draft that is for sure! I have not studied all the scrubs so I do not know how many scrubs with freakish stats there are. I draft 5 and never auto-pick or sub so I have never used any of the scrubs with the fake stats and do not plan to.
