1965 Off-Season Schedule

Here is the schedule for the off-season, fresh from the Commish's Office:

✅Wednesday, March 4, 10 AM: Deadline to sign guys to contracts that you wish to keep into 1965. Also deadline to buyout any contracts using current cap space before the league year rolls over.

✅Wednesday, March 4, 10 AM: 1965 real-life rookies imported. You may claim one real-life player who played for your team in 1965. If a player played for multiple teams the team for which he appeared in the most games has the right of first refusal. Batters must have 150 at-bats, starters must have 75 innings, and relievers must have 25 innings to qualify for import.

✅Friday, March 6, 12 PM: Deadline to request one real-life 1965 rookie.

✅Friday, March 6, 2 PM: Pre-ranking for 1-round draft turns on.

Saturday, March 7, 5 PM: 1-round draft kicks off. Teams have 8 hours to pick and teams that have ranked will be auto-picked ASAP.

After rookie draft: 1-round free agency opens

After rookie draft: Deadline to submit bids for round 1 of free agency.

After rookie draft: Opening Day 1965

24 hours after opening day: Deadline to Request Position Swaps
