This league is under construction.
Creating an accurate historical league with some twists to ensure the most realistic experience.

Rules confirmed so far:

AL/NL 8 team format, no expansion.
Nicknames and stadiums will change to historical norms
4 man rotation until 5 man rotation becomes the norm. 1975 or so.
No contracts.
Initial free agent draft pool is populated by players from the 5 years previous to 1903 who were not on 1903 rosters. Players with less than 200 AB were doubled. In a few cases stats were altered to reflect a player's average stats from the recent past. These were older players who would have had no reason to be drafted by anyone since their stats were far below their norm. Case in point Bill Everitt, whose final year was 1901, when he batted .191, well below his lifetime average of .317. All players ages reflect their actual age in 1903.
Owners can change players stats as the years progress.
Pitchers HR allowed will be used. We don't like teams hitting 325 homeruns.
