Regular season champs earn a tag for any player to get an extra year on his contract and a one time roll back. Congrats on being Top Dog award recipient back to back seasons. Well done Paul!

Newark Hens DLWS 37 CHAMPS !

In dominant fashion the second seeded Newark Hens breezed through the playoffs going 12-0 and capping it off with a sweep over the Northwoods Loons. Bringing memories of Moses Malone's "Fo, fo, and fo" prediction in the NBA finals back in 1984. I don't think anyone has ever gone 12-0 in the playoffs in the Decades League.
The Hens were lead by Mookie Betts' 5 homers including his Reggie like 3 in the final game, and Bryce Harper's 3 homers in the DLWS. An awesome display.
Freddie Freeman had 3 gwrbi in the playoffs and Hamels, Dickey, and Hendricks all won 2 games with Dickey adding a save. Emmanual Clase had 5 saves during the playoffs.

Finally winning their 5th ring and busting the 3 series losing streak in the finals. Congrats to Michael and his plucky Hens on a great season all through.
