· Slump buster will be turned off
· The higher seed will have home field advantage, following the 2-3-2 model
· 2 Days off will be granted before the postseason begins
· Additional days off will be granted after games 2 and 5.
· Winners of the first round will have at least 1 additional day off prior to starting the World Series.
· A championship ring will only be awarded to the winner of the Major League World Series.
Tie Breakers
· In the event of a two team tie, head to head matchup will decide tie breaker
o If head to head is even, power rankings will decide tie breaker
· In the event of 3 or more teams are tied, power rankings will decide tie breaker
· Tie breaker rules are in effect for post season qualifiers and rankings, as well as the free agency draft.
Contracts
· Max of 25 contracts
· Budgets set at 125 for Major league teams, 115 for Minor league teams
· Players will not ask for raises
· Max length of contract is 5 years
· Contracts can be extended after they expire
· All rookies are eligible for a 2 year, $3 contract. Requests for a rookie contract must be submitted to the inbox of the commissioner. This contract is only available to the player in their rookie year. If a rookie is not signed, he becomes a free agent and loses any rights to a rookie contract.
· In the event a relegation leaves a team beyond the minor league budget of 115, no action will be required. This will be considered "Relegation Rights". If over the cap, new contracts will not be able to be signed.
Trades
· Max of 10 trades per season
· I don't intend to interfere with trades, but in the event of an extremely unbalanced trade, I may reach out the managers individually to discuss.
· Draft pick trading is not permitted
At the conclusion of the post season, activities will occur in the following order.
· Finalize contracts
· Promote/Relegate teams
· Progressions
· Retirements
· Rookie Draft
· Free Agent Draft
Promotions
· The top 3 teams in the Minor league will be promoted to the Major league
· In the event the 4th playoff team won the Minor league championship, the 4th team will also be promoted.
Relegations
· The bottom 3 teams in the Major league will be relegated to the Minor league
· In the event the 4th playoff team won the Minor league championship, the 7th place team in the Major league will also be relegated.
Progressions
· Players will progress up to age 28
· Players will regress at age 32, meaning a 4 year peak.
· Players will progress according to their potential rating
· Goal is to keep player potential close to these baselines
o S: 5% of all players
o C: 20%
o A: 15%
o U: 50%
o F: 10%
· Players will retire at age 40, regardless of contract status.
o Additionally, subpar players may retire earlier if free agency pool begins to grow
Rookie Draft
· 40 Rookies will be created each season
· There will be a 2 round slow draft for the rookies
· Draft order will be fixed (not snake)
· The draft order will be based on last year?s standings, and will consist of 3 separate lotteries of equal weights
o Lottery 1: Picks 1-6: Bottom 6 teams in Minor league
o Lottery 2: Picks 7-14: Top 4 Minor league teams and bottom 4 Major league teams
o Lottery 3: Picks 15-18: Major leagues 3-6
o Pick 19: Major league runner up
o Pick 20: Major league champion
Free Agent Draft
Think of this as less of a draft and more of a signing period. Free agents want to join successful teams and try to win now. The top guys want to play in the Major League and not be part of a rebuild on a young Minor League team. This is the concept of the free agent draft order.
· 4 round slow draft
· 5 round supplemental draft (2x daily)
· Draft order will be fixed (not snake)
· The draft order will be based on last year?s standings, after promotions and relegations
o Pick 1: Major league champion
o Pick 2: Major league runner up
o Picks 3-7: Next 5 teams
o Pick 8: Minor league champion
o Picks 9-10: Other 2 promoted Minor league teamso
o Picks 11-13: 3 relegated Major league teams
o Picks 14-20: Bottom 7 teams in Minor league
In the event the 4th place Minor league team wins the Minor league championship, the draft order will alter by one.
o Pick 1: Major league champion
o Pick 2: Major league runner up
o Picks 3-6: Next 4 teams
o Pick 7: Minor league champion
o Picks 8-10: Other 3 promoted Minor league teams
o Picks 11-14: 4 relegated Major league teams

Zero Tolerance Warning
If you read the message boards, there has been a lot of poor behavior by a small group of users over the past year. I don't want that brought into this league.
If you are caught cheating, you are gone.
If you choose to type controversial (includes political, religious, bullying, patronizing, etc.) messages in the chat, you are gone on the first offense. Talk sports, all sports if you'd like, but only sports.
If you are inactive for 14 days, you will be removed.
Please no tanking. This league does not favor it, and it only compromises the integrity of the league. Based on level of offense, you may be removed.
Some leagues use fictional player progression. To learn more about how players progress, check the Player Potential page.
