Franchise leagues and Auto league chang
Here's two adjustments I would like to propose:
1. Best of season league - Add in Best of 2020 and Best of 1980 and 1981.
2. Franchise Leagues - Offer a 5th team to choose from for the worst franchise teams such as the Royals, DBacks, Padres, White Sox, Athletics, Marlins, Pirates in order to increase competition.
Gbacci? Thoughts?
Re: Franchise leagues and Auto league c
I'm an Angel's fan. Have been since 79. You could let me pull from 10 teams and I still don't think I could come up with a championship caliber pitching staff. My guys, even when they win, just don't have great seasons.
Re: Re: Franchise leagues and Auto leag
So you wouldn't be intrigued by 1968 Tom Murphy, 1972, Nolan Ryan, 2014 Garrett Richard's, and 2023 Shohei Ohtani?
Re: Franchise leagues and Auto league c
Also, drop the Yankees to two seasons
Re: Re: Franchise leagues and Auto leag
Yankees don't have enough good pitching for 2 seasons. Hell , they don't have enough from 4 as it is. Thats what is wierd about pc, just because a team was great ala 27 yanks doesn't mean it will translate to success here. I would love to see someone start a 64 team tourney of the all time greatest teams.
Re: Franchise leagues and Auto league c
@Trulaia Not a bad rotation, and I got nothing but admiration for Nolan Ryan, but PC is whip forward and only Murphy got under 1.00. Tanana had a season under 1.00. And RPs Harvey and Percival managed it. A few others, including Wilhelm in 69 when he was older than dirt. But by and large the Angel's have lived and died with whips between 1.25 and 1.5.
Re: Re: Franchise leagues and Auto leag
There's a whole new world coming for franchise leagues - stay tuned because I will need some folks to help test it soon - for all three sports.

Cool! I'm in!
