I'm excited for these new Waiver features - I'm working on a new type of league leveraging this feature, and I think (and hope!) it's going to be a heck of a lot of fun.

I am trying out the new trade deadline feature in my leagues. Really excited about this big improvement.
I like the idea of having the CPU picking the all stars on a specific datey. In my leagues, the all star selection corresponds to 3 days off. I am worried if I have the all stars set automatically, I am going to forget to give the days off.

You can do both. You can use the automatic days off feature and the automatic assign All Stars.

I didn't even think of that. However the automatic days off appears to only grant one day off at a time. How do I grant 3 days off at the same time?

@jim2miller sorry for the late reply, just noticed your question.... this is a feature where teams can use their Team Budget to submit a numerical bid for a player, kind of like a FAAB (free-agent acquisition budget) in fantasy sports if you've ever used that... note, if your league uses keepers/salaries with the Team Budget then it would NOT really make sense to mix the two. But if you are not currently using Team Budget for anything, you could use it for waivers. In that sense, it could technically be used for something creative like an Auction Draft.

@gbacci I currently use a bidding system using Google docs for select top free agents. The balance are drafted. Where can I find the settings for this feature in commissioner tools?

@jim2miller it’s on the Change League Settings page under the waivers section. You just set a minimum bid. It automatically uses Team Budgets for the bids. You can then also use the “Set Timing For” page to set an actual date to run waivers if you want.
