The Oakland A's are within striking distance of a playoff berth and have been all season. Yesterday they were playing the Mariners who are also in contention. They drew just a little more than 4,000 fans. I realize they play in an old antiquated broke down stadium but cmon , wheres the fan support ? can you say Montreal bound ?

relocation candidates ?
watching todays afternoon game and it looks like maybe 2000 at the most.Beautiful sunny day team in contention and nada fans. I remember years ago i went to see the mariners play in san francisco but flew to oakland to save money. the bart stop is right outside their stadium . the a's were playing the redsox and i saw people leaving the game , i asked a guy who won , he said curt schilling has a no hitter thru 8. i asked him are you crazy why would you leave a no hitter, he said you dont want to be around this area after dark
some places just don't draw. It a MLB problem. Lack of interest. we are still dealing with covid one way or another. The Rays may be in the WS again and wont sell out.
A's have already relocated twice - halfway, then all the way across the country. I see no issue with them replacing the team that was stolen by that criminal Luria and his enablers within MLB itself.
