Trout isn't "cooked" yet, but he isn't anywhere close to "elite" anymore. Still hits for power, but the average is pretty low. Hard contract to move. The new owner owns the Rams (and a bunch of other teams) and privately financed SoFi Stadium. A lot of options available for either a new stadium or renovating the current one. Changing the team name back to the "Geographically correct" Anaheim is a sticking point for the City of Anaheim. As bad an owner a Moreno was, Frank McCourt might have been worse - and the Dodgers turned out OK. So there is hope now the the Halos.

Tim K of ESPN made an interesting comment yesterday . He said that Moreno was horrible at making baseball decisions but wanted to make them all ala Jerry Jones .

Mike Trout falls in the category of "unfortunate circustances" along side Walter Johnson and Ernie Banks. At least "The Big Train" won a World Series.

Can you imagine how many games The Big Train would have won if he had played for the Yankees ? He would have passed Cy easily .

More to the point, Johnson pitched full-time from '08 - '26 and the Yankees didn't become the Yankees until 1920 when they got that guy from the Red Sox. If the Train had pitched for the A's or the White Sox for his career, it would have made a huge difference for him.
