substitution question
on one of my teams my 2 shortstops are Andrelton Simmons 5.43 dwar but noodle bat and Rico Petrocelli 2.7 dwar but solid power bat. my question is can i set it up for petrocelli to replace simmons as a pinch hitter but only when i am losing? i currently have him eligible to be hit for by petrocelli but i would prefer to keep simmons in when i am leading. the sim took out simmons when i had a 7 run lead. so can it be set up for only when losing? thanks

@GusPC13 , thanks, but petrocelli still came in as a defensive replacement in another instance, should i toggle that off in sb/defensive subs page?

Petrocelli must have a higher fld % than Simmons or he would never replace him defensively. If you don't want Rico to ever replace Andrelton defensively, just offensively, yes, just toggle the defensive replacement off either on Rico's ability to sub in, or on Andrelton's ability to be replaced, or both. Doing that on the defensive side won't stop Rico from pinch hitting when you're losing, as long as the pinch hitting is set properly for both of them.

All True, BUT if Petrocelli's secondary position is say 3B and you have a Miguel Cabrera at 3B and its late innings, toggle not allow,would rule out he doing anything but pinch hit - just a thought, he still carries impressive dwar at his secondary, although FLD % takes a hit
