Starters used in relief
i understand i can use a sp as a long reliever, my question is if i have a second starter in the bullpen would he be used on the priority list or just be wasted?

he would only enter the game if either the score is WELL out of hand or after all other RP have been used or are tired, to be honest, even though it makes MORE sense to use a 2nd SP - I don't think he will enter before untired RP's

It is good to have a 2nd SP in bullpen if you don't have many RP's. Say you only have 3 RP's that SP will get som use if the other SP was used in long relief. I will do this some times and have that first SP set to be long relief but have him removed before pitch count or just 3 runs allowed.

@SinCityMarauder , thanks. i ended up grabbing an extra starter in a new draft because he was too solid to pass up. was just trying to figure out a way to utilize all 7 starters but i am not all that confident in a couple guys so i was wondering how to make it work. i currently have 5 relievers and a long man
