Playoff rules and seeding

12) Playoffs: 8(!) teams make the playoffs. In the best of 3 round, 5 hosts 8, and 6 hosts 7. Reseed. In the best of 5 round, 3 hosts 6, and 4 hosts 5. Reseed. Next round (best of 7), 1 hosts 4, 2 hosts 3. The survivors play in the World Series (best of 7).
- 4 days off to start playoffs. 2 days off after end of playoff series and unplayed games grant days off . No days off during series ie travel from gm 2 to 3 in Best of 5 or 2 & 5 in best of 7.

Ties: If teams tie for a playoff spot:

⇒ If both teams would be “in”, use head to head record as a tiebreaker. 2nd tiebreaker: run differential. 3rd tiebreaker: I will make an arbitrary decision.
⇒ If one is in, the other is out, 1 game playoff (@ head 2 head winner)
