The East defeated the West 98–94 with Tyson Chandler of the Indiana Pacers taking home the Most Valuable Player Award. Chandler led the East with 8 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocked shots. Dirk Nowitzki of the Orlando Magic scored 16 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and dished out 4 assists to contribute to the victory.

Chris Paul of the Houston Rockets led the West with 18 points, 9 assists, and 5 steals in the contest. LeBron James of the Seattle SuperSonics contributed 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists in the loss.
