1966 Off-Season Schedule

Here is the schedule for the off-season, fresh from the Commish's Office:

✅Tuesday, April 21, 1 PM: Deadline to sign guys to contracts that you wish to keep into 1966. Also deadline to buyout any contracts using current cap space before the league year rolls over.

✅Tuesday, April 21, 1 PM: 1966 real-life rookies imported. You may claim one real-life player who played for your team in 1966. If a player played for multiple teams the team for which he appeared in the most games has the right of first refusal. Batters must have 150 at-bats, starters must have 75 innings, and relievers must have 25 innings to qualify for import.

✅Thursday, April 23, 1 PM: Deadline to request one real-life 1966 rookie.

✅Thursday, April 23, 2 PM: Pre-ranking for 1-round draft turns on.

✅Friday, April 24, 2 PM: 1-round draft kicks off. Teams have 8 hours to pick and teams that have ranked will be auto-picked ASAP.

Tuesday, after rookie draft: 1-round free agency opens

Friday, May 1, 12 PM: Deadline to submit bids for free agency.

Friday, May 1, 2 PM: Opening Day 1966

Saturday, May 2, 2 PM: Deadline to Request Position Swaps
