Decades League Bowl III Redskins Champs

The Washington Redskins and nathaniel20 are the Decades Budget League Bowl III Champions.

A 30-17 win over pasteater3's Seattle Seahawks. A close game at the half, a 21-17 game turned defensive in the second half as all that was mustered were three Mark Moseley 4th quarter FG's. Due to three short fields.

The Skins D harassed Dave Kreig all game with 6 sacks, an int, and a sack fumble. The first half also saw a Seattle punt return for a TD and a backbreaking kick off return by the Redskins with 11 seconds left in the half. Seattle had just taken the lead 17-14 on Kreig's only TD pass. Then the KO was returned with just 11 secs to go to give Washington the lead.
The Hawks were done there. 5 3rd quarter punts by both teams until the Skins took over on their own 48 and moved into the 4th quarter and down to the Seahawks 1 where they settled for a FG.
After a sack of Kreig on the next possession Washington took over on the Seahawk 11! No TD but another FG made it 27-17.
Seattle got the ball back and in desperation mode turned the ball over on downs inside their own 30 that led to the final FG of the game.

Congrats to Nathaniel20 and the first title for a WC team. Congrats to both on a great season and a fun season 3.
