League Rules

Off Season:

Each team is allowed to sign 1 player to a 7 year contract. They can also sign 5 players to 2 year deals.
Players peak at 28, begin regression at 29.

Rosters:

All Teams must have 24 active players and 5 in the farm system.
All teams must have AT LEAST: 2 C, 5 SP, 6 RP

REGULAR SEASON:

162 game schedule.
There is interleague play.
Single days off following day: 9,18,27,36,45,54,63,72,90,99,108,117,126,135,144,153
All Star Break is after Game 81, 3 days off are given.
All Stars are selected during this time.
2 division winners and 2 wildcard per league make playoffs.
All season award winners are selected before start of playoffs, after game 162 has been played.

PLAYOFFS:

4 playoff teams per league ( 2 division winners/ 2 wildcard).
Wildcard tie-breaker is determined by head-to-head match up.
2nd tie-breaker is determined by run differential.
If still tied, game #163 will be played between the teams tied.
2 day break at end of regular season.

PLAYOFF FORMAT:

Division winner with better record (each league), plays lower wildcard team (tie breakers are same as above).
2nd division winner players higher wildcard team.
Round 1 of playoffs is best-of-5.
Higher seed team is home for games 1,2,5. 1 day break after games 2 and 4.
2 day break after Round 1.
Round 2 is best-of-7.
Higher seed team is home for 1,2,5,7. 1 day break after games 2,4,6.
2 day break after Round 2.
World Series is best of 7.
Team with better record (see tie-breakers above) is home for games 1,2,5,7. 1 day break after games 2,4,6.
