League Rules
Welcome to the Century League.General Principles:
The league will have 6 owners: each owner gets 1 National and 1 American League team. Your order of selection in the NL will be the reverse of your order of selection in the AL. 2 teams per league will not be in use. YOU MAY NOT TRADE PLAYERS BETWEEN YOUR TEAMS!
Rosters in the early days had well below PC minimums for players. You will be given the 1919 rosters. Then, if need be, these players will be progressed, and you will receive your 1920 imports, as long as they don't play for a league team in 1919. We will begin play with the 1920 season.
To be clear, to receive a player from 1919, that player must have had 30 AB or 12 IP FOR YOUR TEAM, AND, he must have played more games for your team than for any other team that season. In 1920, a player must have 100 AB and 35 IP.
You will get imports every year, as long as the players are not already in the league, and you can stat change as many players as you want to. Stat changing is a choice between last season's stats, progressed, and the new season's actual stats.
Rosters will be 26/14
4 man pitching rotation
Initial Season:
Minimums: 12 IP, 30 AB
Low AB/IP players will be edited or have their stats doubled so they can be progressed next season per PC
Year 2 (1920): 35 IP, 100 AB
No prospects, tagged players, or spring training in this league
Divisions, games, and playoffs:
There will be 2 leagues of 6 teams. League champions (most wins after 154 games) meet in the World series. Best of 7 games.
In case of ties:
To make the playoffs, a one-game playoff will decide who is in and who goes home.
There will be 165 games played in the regular season, so that each team plays every other team in their league 33 times.
Beginning with the offseason between 1929 and 1930, SP can be changed to RP. Also, you can change a player's primary and secondary positions, if he played 25% of his career games at his secondary position, or if he played 50% of his games in the upcoming season at that position. Further, you can change his primary position to the position he played the most in his career, regardless of percentages.

OFF SEASON DUTIES:
Classic progression after world series.
Owners can choose players to have their stats switched from last season's progressed stats to the next season's actual stats on their own. 100/35 will be the minimums for stat changes (AB/IP)
Imports: Your next year's players will be imported on your roster as long as they are not already in league.
Trades (all season 99): Game 140 is the trade deadline: no trades permitted between game 140 and the end of the World series.
In addition to Cy Young and MVP, a "Manager of the Year" award will be given to the owner with the best combined record.
Some leagues use fictional player progression. To learn more about how players progress, check the Player Potential page.
