League Rules
UNIVERSEPlayer universe is 1980 to 1989. You draft a player and he?s yours, no one else can draft him.
The system automatically assigns a season to that player, most likely his best. However you can select another year for that player at any time during the season.
DRAFT
Your primary drafting objective is to draft the best nine positions including DH plus a starting pitching rotation and strongest relief pitching. 28 total players, with a maximum of 15 batters and a maximum of 15 total pitchers.
MINORS
Over the course of the season you can draft additional players to your minor league.
WAIVERS
Up to 4 players or pitchers can be selected after each game.
SIM
3 to 4 games will be simulated (sim or simmed) on any one day, typically between 7am and 8am, 1pm to 2pm and 7pm. All times Pacific.
KEEPERS or CONTRACTS
I expect we will tweak the set up and details of the league as we move through our first season. If we like things we can assign keepers to year 2 and beyond. The site also allows for contracts to be assigned to players.
PLAYOFFS: division winners (2) + 4 wild cards. 4 will cards playoff 1 vs 4, 2 vs 3 in a best of 3. Winners advance to best of 5 vs division winner. World series is best of 7.
Draft order the following season will be last place = first pick, second last place = 2nd pick etc.
