First name is Paul, but most people call me Pappy. Reside in the Central Valley of California where in 90 minutes you can either be on the beach or snow skiing in the mountains. I have been a teacher since the 1993/1994 school year with the last 5 years serving as the discipline AP for a H.S. with a student population of 1600. I have been coaching HS sports since 1984. I have coached a state champion in the triple jump as the head track coach (I also coached 3 NFL players at that HS) and lost in the state championship game as a head football coach. In HS I played water polo and swam (I graduated at 5'1"/ 95 lbs). Played 1 yr of college water polo before the program was cut. I then played Football, Track, Golf, and Tennis (I grew to 5'8") at the college level before transferring to a 4 yr program on a track scholarship (pole vault). Married for 32 years with 4 adult kids. Retiring in November to a life of PC, lol.. and backyard golf. Built a golf simulator in my backyard that I am going to spend a lot of time in :)
