On the flip side, they're stealing runs left and right. Over 300 SB in just 49 games.

They rank at the bottom of the league in runs scored . Look at the caught stealing , almost 3 a game . To me , thats giving up one inning of outs a game . By the way , is stealing home in this game ? I don't think i've ever seen it .

The Bill James rule states that the break even for stealing percentage is 66%. You have to be higher than that for it to help your offense.

To MrBubbles, there are no thefts of Home Plate in PC- but there also are no Throwing errors by Pitchers on Pickoffs, no wild throws on SB attempts by catchers, and No Balks, -That makes stealing bases a lot less attractive because the net gain can never be better than a steal

It was the 3rd post on this thread , thanks for the info on pickoffs . I wonder what got guspc's panties in a bunch lol . Normally that many sb's would be great , in fact they are one game ahead of me but the lack of power will cost them . Now watch them win the whole thing. One thing I've learned on pc is to not get all wrapped up in stats . I once went 120-42 and got swept and another time I went 78-84 and only lost 1 playoff game .

that just happened to me too. 1st place, 110+ wins, mvp and cy young awards, and get swept, lol. then a weak ass team that limps into the playoffs, barely getting the last spot, and wins it all...

@luckyguy73 , seems like every 100 win team gets knocked out early while my 87 win teams reach the finals!! it is a little annoying but that's baseball!!

speaking of respecting the curse, the other curse i believe in is being the person who clicks the sim next game button. guaranteed loss... lol

even after i literally spoke of the second curse "clicking the sim next game" button, i still did it and sure enough my braves lost a game 7. i am so stupid to click it, but it sits there looking so tempting to click like the song of the sirens luring its prey and you try and say this is the time i break the curse, but nope just another L...
