What does averaging 8.9 pts , 3.2 reb and 4.2 ass get you ? A spot in the hall of fame. Michael Cooper was a good player on championship teams but that has got to be the worst stats of any hof'er. Not a Laker hater , loved showtime but really , less than 10 pts a game ? Luka Doncic averages that per qtr almost.

I definitely see where you're coming from, but you can't forget that Cooper was an 8 time all defensive team member and the 1987 DPOY.

They also inducted Dick Barnett who had similar mediocre stats , just glad to see that the late Walter Davis got in.I remember watching him growing up in the 70's. He was one of the best pure shoters in history, shot over 500 pct for his carreer.
