Order of Supplementary Draft Picks
Order of Supplementary Draft Picks
My understanding is that draft order for Supplementary Draft picks has always been based strictly on the rank of every player's default year. Is that correct?
I'm noticing that before a league fills some owners are switching players to lower-ranked years, seemingly with the notion that if their team appears weaker than it actually is they'll be granted a better chance at early Supplementary Draft picks. That would, in actuality, be nothing more than a futile attempt to game the SIM, yes?

Re: Order of Supplementary Draft Picks
If a thing can be done, it will be done, some people will use any advantage or scam available to get an unfair advantage and then beat their chests over their ability to game the system, surely you are not surprised?
Re: Re: Order of Supplementary Draft Pi
The team power ranking is determined as soon as the team is done drafting. So changing after that doesn't help.
Re: Order of Supplementary Draft Pi
but if an owner adjusts their rosters PRIOR to the drafts completion, is this still doable?
Re: Re: Order of Supplementary Draft Pi
Good question.
I'm pretty sure things are set up so that it's not possible to, say, draft 22 players and then downgrade their rankings before picking the last player in hopes of outwitting the SIM's subsequent determination of drafting order for the two Supplemental Draft Rounds.
