Baseball free agency, draft class?
We are here 4 days into the season and we're adding guys for the Minor League spot. guys i have tried to pick up and they say I can't because they're draft class, what does that mean?

Draft Class are players NEWLY added to an Auto League and won't become active until the NEXT season.

Why are some owners allowed to draft or claim certain players while others like myself are not allowed to

@nycubsfan it's probably bots claiming those players- I will need to clean this up.

I still don’t quite understand the new player pool tags. In ATG 1296 which just started, new players are have been drafted - Judge , Nola , etc. Now that the drafts are complete and waivers are on, the new players - Bregman, W.Clark, etc. are tggec as Draft Class and cannot be claimed. Just trying to understand. Might make a difference in whether I have position someone as a high draft choice versus thinking I can pick up the same player via waivers. Great site. Thanks for adding new players to the pool.

@Idesofmarch indeed some cleanup still needed, because as you note, these guys could get Quick Drafted, but are then locked after that.... I'll change this moving forward so that when players get added in or before the Quick Draft, they are available for the full season even after the Quick Draft... for leagues that have already drafted, those "Draft Class" free agents will become available next season.
