Central/Eastern PA Sports Teams Debacle

Over an 8 day span (Sat. Oct. 4 - Sat. Oct. 11) their teams combined to go 2-9. Needless to say, people are very angry, sad and depressed.
Penn St. 0-2 (as a favorite in both games)
Eagles 0-2 (as a favorite in both games)
Phillies 1-3 (as a favorite in the series)
Flyers 1-2 (start of season)

This is historic since on Thursday, Oct. 9 the Flyers, Eagles, and Phillies all lost on the same day. This has only happened one other time ever with all cities that has teams in each of the sports. The last time was 1983 and it was done by the Flyers, Eagles, and Phillies.

Aren't Philly fans "very angry, sad, and depressed" as a general rule??
