In the real MLB , Shohei Ohtani now has the longest active scoreless inning streak and the longest active on base streak . We should all feel lucky to live in this time and witness something that hasn't been done since the Babe . Even then he wasn't doing it at the same time at this level .

No, we live in a time where a person can gamble, blame his interpreter, send his interpreter to jail, and continue to play baseball. Pete Rose and Shoeless Joe are less than thrilled. They also have served their bans, but aren't in the HOF yet.

yep, I am old enough to have been able to see and enjoy the Raiders winning 3 Superbowls.... All before a salary cap, Al Davis knew football, but the franchise fell apart because he never understood the salary cap. Grandpa was a scout for the Giants... introduced me to Willie Mays when I was 5 years old. I was born into being a Giants fan.
Baseball badly needs a cap that works... we better enjoy this season because next season might be mostly a work stoppage as they fight that one out

Big money is pretty ruining sports across the board and the saddest thing now is that it is destroying college football and basketball too. Maybe we need to start scanning ESPN 8- The OCHO- to find the next interesting sport that money hasn't corrupted yet. I'm kind of liking ultimate frisbee- that's a fun sport to watch.

Anyone remember Australian rules football ? That's pretty much all ESPN had when they first came on .
