Hoo, Hoo, Hoo, Hoosiers !!

Great game last night, some "Oh Sh_t" moments - 1st and foremost going for it twice on 4th down in that 4th quarter drive with Mendoza going 12 on a QB draw for the game winner. Every time the Hoosiers would go up by 10, Miami would come right back. Turnovers, including the blocked punt TD, killed the 'Canes. Never thought in my lifetime that I'd see this !!

Just when I was about to give up on college football because of the NIL making it a pro league. Every decision the NCAA makes is intended to keep the elite, elite and the also rans, also rans. This one backfired. System is still very broken but now the elite teams are worried about sharing the wealth.

I figured that Indiana would win last night because Cignetti is the real deal but it does seem surreal because Indiana has been the doormat of Big 10 football since I can remember and now they are the national champions. What are the odds of Indiana and Vanderbilt- both the perennial doormats of their respective conferences- both rising in the same year the way they have? There are alot of things wrong with college sports these days but it's stories like the 2025-2026 Hoosiers and the Commodores football teams that will keep college athletics relevant. Hoo-ray for the Hoosiers and the "Crossroads of America' State of Indiana- my new home.

Yeah, I grew up in Indiana with IU basketball as the King and football was ruled by Purdue and Norte Dame. The Big 10 was all Ohio St. and Michigan. Never thought I'd see the day......

Congratulations to all Hoosier fans! So happy for you all. Maybe the greatest college football story ever.
Also, loving the fact that the Big Ten has won the past 3 titles!!!
