do you find it best to tweak lineups periodically throughout the season to kickstart your team during a slump, or is it best to just set it and forget it from the start?
Re: Favorite Team MLB Auto-League WAR
Once you have a good sample size, I definitely try and realign to ride the hot hand...guys under perform/overperform all the time and you have to keep up with that, IMO
Re: Favorite Team MLB Auto-League WAR
If I'm winning I leave it alone. If I'm losing I check team stats and see if its my offense or pitching. Then I change things around.
Re: Favorite Team MLB Auto-League WAR
i think i have confirmed the 245 ip abuse penalty. 2 prime examples. they are getting bombed now after that threshold.

although this one is also getting bombed lately, maybe a fix was put in? just a big coincidence?

Re: Favorite Team MLB Auto-League W
no, they are SP's not assigned to any role. so what happens is when i run out of RP pitchers then those SP pitchers get selected, but the interesting thing is they either have no rest time or just 1 day, even if they pitch 2 - 4 innings. the most i ever saw was 2 rest days, so it's just a science experiment i've been conducting on the side that was bearing fruit until recently they have all been bombing in separate leagues. i noticed 2 of them had passed the 245 ip mark about the time of the collapses.
the idea was for teams that don't have enough quality SP, to just use a couple good ones in the unassigned role for ending games, and using five 40 stamina SP's and a solid bullpen. or variations along those lines...

Re: Re: Favorite Team MLB Auto-League W
@luckyguy73 are they pitching tired? It shouldn't be the innings penalty we discussed - that's only for RPs. But if the SP is coming in regularly while tired, that's usually not good.
