Quick Draft Pilot League

Basketball Quick draft is here - the first one will be a trial to make sure it's working properly - it is now on the Join League page (it is a Best of 2000s League).

I want to comment briefly on why it's different than baseball. You'll pick three players at a time, being offered four groups of three players. Basketball is much different than baseball - one or two players can change the entire strength of team. Allowing the early teams to hand-pick the whole roster would have been impossible to keep fair. By having to choose a set of three, there are some interesting strategic decisions to make, and it will be an easier system to keep fair.

Waivers will be used for the first six games. Since we now have Waivers, I didn't want to introduce a Supplemental Draft on top of Waivers like we do in baseball, since it's largely the same thing.
