Event A occurs, program generates a random number, runs the number through its routines, a result is generated. Even if an adjustment is made for previous occurrences, it's still possible to get that same result again. Considering that Pennant Chase sims a number of games daily that exceeds the total number of games played since the 1890s, weird things happening is to be expected.
