I was at a lot of Angel games during that same time period. 78-88. Lived there until 94 but games got fewer and fewer. Don't remember why. Ryan left after the 79 season, and Frank T hurt his arm. They were an old, free agent built team that never quite got there. Owned by the Cowboy, Gene Autry. Great memories.
