I don't understand the player's union - it would only benefit them to have a "Floor" and if it comes with a cap, who cares? It could be a high, hard cap and by forcing other teams to spend, players will still get paid. The ludicrous deals will probably go away, but that's only a small percent of players. The Agents will be the most upset - but guess what, they don't get to make the rules. Leaches like Boros can go suck it if they don't like it. That being said, the players won't agree to a cap anyway, even if it's the best thing for them.
