What are player tags about?
What are player tags about?
I see there are some players tagged in Free Agency that cannot be signed. What is this all about? If they cannot be signed... what are they tagged to be?
Maybe this was covered somewhere, but I did not see it.
I continue to be a below-average manager whose moves continually stink... but I keep making them anyway because I am set in my old-fart ways. All the best to PC lovers!

Those players were added to the pool by gbacci and only available when your league redrafts. This is a lot fairer than the old process of just dumping players in and the guy that figures it out 1st has an edge, not to mention the fact the the competitive balance of the league go down the drain. I just joined 2 ATG Autos and was able to draft Betts and Judge on both.

In a league that I'm in that just started, and I drafted a couple of the Draft Class players, I am not able to place a Waiver Claim on a Draft Class player (Bregman). I'm assuming that these players should be available under these circumstances ?

Thanks for calling that out. What probably happened is players were added during the quick draft so they got drafted but the tag only gets removed AFTER the season. So for now, any new guy who was not drafted will have to become available in the next season.

I thought it might be something like that. The new players are good additions to the player pool and I look forward to using more of them in the future. Thanks Guy !!

auto league 317 i tried to add joey votto, said he could not be signed, then on next round of waivers he was selected by another team. so i did a test on eddie stanky, said he could not be signed. i have a few of the new players on my roster already. seems weird.

Ah, looks like bots were able to add the Draft Class players - those damn bots! So, yeah looks like there are a couple things to clean up here when players get added during the draft...

I am in some of the same leagues as you are in and I saw how you could add players to the claim process but I was not allowed to put in claims
