Yet another year! Hello to 2026, but first...
Happy New Year! Somehow it’s already 2026. Every year I write this and feel the same mix of excitement and mild disbelief — time is moving fast.
Pennant Chase continues to inch closer to a milestone that still feels unreal to me: nearly two decades open to the public online. What started as a side project has become something far bigger than I ever imagined, largely because of the community that keeps showing up year after year.
As always, I wish I had more time to spend on the site day-to-day. But when I step back and look at what got done this year, it’s exciting - especially the addition of animated replays, which was a long-time dream of mine. The momentum continues, and 2026 already has some exciting ideas queued up.
Now for one of my favorite traditions: our annual leaderboard shout-outs.
⚾ Baseball Auto League Leaders - Most Wins
These owners simply grinded baseball this year — five elite performances, with the top three all clearing 45,000+ wins in a single season:
