I will decide whether or not to allow duplicates or equivalent player to either the expansion club or team losing a major player. I do not want to see clubs like the Padres losing too many players. Will see how it goes as I do imports.

I am still working on my 1985 league imports. Once done, I will start here on progressions. For new owners, the current teams get their players progressed. Then they have the option to switch to 1993 real stats if those look better to them than the progressed stats. You will have the same option after the expansion draft for the players you choose. Always worth looking ahead at future years. Stat change will be set to 1993 so you will need an outside source like baseball reference to check future stats.

While we wait on the current poll and progressions, let's begin discussing expansion here. My thoughts are to import all players to the Marlins and Rockies not yet in league. All current teams will drop to 40 players. But we should discuss further cuts, say to 33, 35 or 37. And also if we will just have a simple expansion draft until those teams are full and proceed with the season or should we hold a regular draft as well. Since we would be dropping players, some of the lower current teams could benefit as well. Or just the expansion drft and then proceed with waivers?

Just saw your message here. You can pick any player with 1992 American League stats so long as they do not have future seasons with an NL team. Also, they cannot already be in our league with an NL team.
