The Scrappers led the league with a .249 team batting average and runs scored with 732. The Scappers also led the league with a 3.36 ERA and the fewest runs scored against with 608. The Cleveland Buckeyes finished five games back in second place. The Buckeyes had the league MVP in Jim Thome and the CY YOUNG in Earl Moore. Thome hit .299 with 77 HRs and 1140 RBIs. Moore was 21-10 with 1.07 WHIP in 190 innings.
