There are no controls over the number of injuries that a team can have, just the number of days. It was set at 30 days for both pitchers and batters when I took over as commissioner and I have left them that way.

He was the Dave Kingman of his era , didn't hit many doubles or score alot of runs , was a horrible fielder. His k numbers weren't high though. New to the league so I dont feel like I could vote for him.

It turns out that the guy I dropped (Jeter) was claimed by the Cubs, so I've returned to the Cubs the player that they dropped to pick up Jeter. Gaston is available to whoever has the highest claim.
The Padres didn't make their cuts by the deadline, so the commissioner's office dropped the lowest ranked players as per league rules. I'm guessing that Gaston must have been one of those because they don't show up in the transaction log. This morning, as I was making claims for my team, I discovered that he had a great year in 1970, and put in a claim. When I successfully claimed him, I updated his stats to 1970. It wasn't until I saw Talon's post that I realized that he must have been one of the SD drops. Since my philosophy as commissioner is to avoid any controversial moves, I will put him back in the free agent pool and pick up the guy I dropped to get him.
