You gotta admit though, as the article writer even states, it wouldn't make the idea any better but it WOULD make it fun. As a WWE fan, I understood the reference that was made lol

I watched Foul Territory yesterday on YouTube and both Ken Rosenthal and Max Muncy dumped on the idea. I agree, it's a dumb idea, and it's not baseball. The other rule changes I was totally in on because I thought it helped the game without changing it substantially . Even the "Ghost Runner" during the regular season is good - who wants 18 inning games ? And for all you Dodger haters - which Dodger MVP do you want to see getting an extra hack in the game ? This is the kind of thing that's going to cause a work stoppage in '26.
