First time in keeper league. If I only spend a total of $46 of the allotted $55 what happens to the remaining $9? Does the $9 carryover to the next season ? Would be pleasantly surprised if it did. Second question if I sign a $17 player who has a $5 premium for year two, will I have $22 subtracted from the allotted $55 right away and be working with $32 for other players that year? Any help is appreciated. Just don’t fully understand the ramifications and pros and cons of signing a player for 2 years. Thanks for any insight.

It's just money not spent, no big deal. It doesnt roll over. Yes to your $22 question. The next season you'll have that bigger salary taken out and have the rest left to work with.
