Re: Fantasy Baseball ESPN

Re: Fantasy Baseball ESPN

I don't know if ESPN even supports that type of League, in fact I doubt it does, you can create a private League and reconstitute it each year but there are no keepers -and ESPN does not let you place players on a team, it's a year to year draft as far as I know so a Dynasty League won't fly either. And drafting Minor League guys has never been an option.

In truth ESPN is not Fantasy Baseball, it's based off real life stats that are generated each day and is completely unpredictable, guys get hurt for the SEASON, suspended, get sent down.

PC does not have those factors, and is a different animal altogether, if you draft Barry Bonds in his 76 HR season, the longest you can lose him to injury in auto leagues is like 5 days, on ESPN he could be suspended for Steroid use for 80 games and then be playoff ineligible when he returns.

Good Luck, I love Rotisserie Baseball, but have shifted to PC myself - Some of ESPN's rules are dumb too, If the Cubs game starts at 1pm Eastern -All add drops are locked for that day at 1pm eastern, it should be on a when each game starts basis - There is also a Max number of games you can use start pitchers, say 180 games, after that starters accrue no points, so the idiots who burned all their starts up start waiving starters and grabbing middle relievers who can provide W's, K's, help your ERA and Whip, and if the guy who drops them is in say Indonesia, they unlock at like 2am and the guy who lives in Australia grabs them all, no thanks,
