Random For Certain

Random For Certain

I came back to see my nowhere near real SB totals and here's a news flash for you math failures. This "game" is a simulation the same way masturbation is sex.

At 29 and 26 years old Piazza and Mauer both threw out 26% of base stealers, which means 74% of the guys who ran were successful. Not only were Alomar and Raines 0-4 against Piazza, they're now only 50% successful after their games with Mauer. Raines was thrown out 3 times in his first 4 attempts even though in 1987 Tim Raines stole 50 and was only caught 5 times but one steal and 3 caughts after not playing any elite arm catchers in my first 6 games.

And that's on top of Alomar and Raines only attempting to steal 10 bases in their 17 times on base that weren't triples or HR's despite my 100% setting just on stealing 2nd alone. If you add my jacking up the steal 3rd to a third of the time too it means they're attempting way, way UNDER 100% for 2nd base and 3rd base COMBINED even if you take out any time a guy was in front of Raines because Raines is in front of Alomar and them both being on together should result in a double steal attempt 100% of the time if my setting is 100% yet they've only attempted 10 steals.

Now, let's have the math failure scammers running this site reply behind me how all this BS is a math thing so that the marks will think it makes sense, the math failure marks playing this game and thinking anything they do matters. When Raines ends up with a 60% or less successful steals rate against catchers who were 74% unsuccessful before you even count the elite job Raines did stealing bases in 1987 this game will be proven as the sham and scam it is. One of the lying pay to play games is claiming "accurate 97% of the time". Yes, and I'm the best UFC fighter who ever lived too. 100% means ALWAYS. If it doesn't do what I say to ALWAYS do then nothing we do matters when this bad program inaccurately runs stats on baseball. If the program either ignores or doesn't understand what 100% is then it's not a simulation. It's just jacking off.

The actual explanation is fairly simple though. My setting of 100% steals and the 70 to 75% failure rate of most catchers would result in Raines and Alomar having over 200 steals each. That would mean lots of wins for my team and since we can't turn up your HR or hits rate, the liars running this site are both sabotaging my baserunners and ignoring my 100% setting in order to HOLD MY PLAYERS AND MY TEAM BACK!!! Ignoring my settings ON PURPOSE, meaning nothing you do matters and nothing you do adds or subtracts stats or wins from your totals. It's a scam, a lie, a total screw job of all of you math failures who both think this game adds up and that it's legit. It's a money-making scam run by liars. Period. The end!

Re: Random For Certain

YIKES !!!!!!!!

Re: Random For Certain

Last time: I want realism!

This time: I want Raines to swipe 200 bags!

I hope you have a great evening, sir. =)

Re: Random For Certain

Gbacci already told you, if you would bother to read, that even if you set it to steal 100% of the time, the runner won't always get a good jump. You wanted realism, there you go. Ricky Henderson didn't run every time. Ever heard of a small sample size? Give them time and their success rate should go up, but keep in mind, the more you run, the more times you can get thrown out...

Re: Random For Certain

One of the biggest heel attempts in quite a while. Hope he sticks around.

Re: Re: Random For Certain

I was playing Parcheesi this one time, and the dice I was using rolled a 1 five times in a row. Totally unrealistic. I threw it off the balcony as far as I could and wrote a nasty letter to the company. Ridiculous.

Re: Random For Certain

this guy is.... highly entertaining. can't wait for the next episode.

Re: Re: Random For Certain

Gus, when you went and got the Die later on, did it land on a 5??

I've been a complainer about the steal ability in PC many times because I feel it devalues a lot of guys who's entire MLB stints were based off their speed and stolen base ability, but this guy is over the top.

It's a Free site to boot, so how is he getting scammed??

You know the very 1st time I drove a car I realized that I needed some real driving experience before I knew what I was doing, but this guy wants his 1st drive to be the Daytona 500- I have to say he appears more Danica Patrick than Dale Earnhardt

Re: Re: Random For Certain

You don't need a good jump to ATTEMPT a steal Sarah. 100% is ALWAYS attempt stealing anyway Sarah, good jump or not. They're not ATTEMPTING steals 100% of the time Sarah, which is all that setting is supposed to do. This is besides you being an utter moron who thinks a computer program can "simulate" a bad jump anyway. Attempt to steal 100% of the time means they go no matter what, otherwise it isn't 100% you utter moron and complete English and math failure. Always steal isn't steal sometimes. You can't explain away something not happening always as "part of baseball". If I say always steal. my players don't always attempt steals, then the lying, scammer owner/creator of this site makes excuses for why 100% is actually only 60% and you believe it, you're just too stupid for words.

You're saying Tim Raines who was 55 for 60 stealing in 1987 is getting bad jumps against any number of 9 to 12 pitchers already? You're morons. Get down and your knees and swallow some more. They're not stealing always and their success rate, failure rate actually. is mathematically impossible. Raines has been caught already in 6 games 60% of the times he was caught the entire 87 season. To equate that to HR's... if a 1987 batter had hit 40 HR's but in this game had already hit 60% of that in 6 games or 24 HR's already, IN 6 GAMES, would you morons still be talking about bad jumps? Raines already being caught 3 times in 6 games is like a batter who hit 40 HR's in 1987 already hitting 24 HR's, you math failure semen swallowers. That's 24 HR's hit because the sun was in the pitchers
eyes every time. Bad jump, in a simulation. Unbelievable.

Re: Random For Certain

Your points are buried beneath a pile of jackass.

Re: Re: Random For Certain

Karen, do you want realism, or do you want a sim. You can't have it both ways. Realism is NOT attempting to steal every time you get on base. Isn't realism what you wanted, Karen?

Re: Random For Certain

"I was playing Parcheesi this one time, and the dice I was using rolled a 1 five times in a row. Totally unrealistic. I threw it off the balcony as far as I could and wrote a nasty letter to the company. Ridiculous."

I love it when you get serious! Hilarious!

Re: Re: Random For Certain

Clearly you are a liar...you said you were done in your first post. LIE. Now you are back to **** and moan some more. How about you admit you are just a d***head who likes to fight and scream and yell and live in an alternate reality where you get to be right about everything.

Perhaps consider running for politics, both the far right and left seem to love d***heads like you!!

Re: Random For Certain

Can't be a sim addict. No players have ever hit 24 HR's in any 6 game stretch in this scam or any of the other non-simulation games either guaranteed. You're in your drug addicted math failure way trying to excuse away a mathematical impossibility in a sim, if this were actually that and not a money-making scam. Your defense of this scam is in real baseball nobody would steal 100% of the time as you totally ignore the real baseball fact that nobody can hit 24 HR's in 6 games in real baseball either. Your insanely stupid defense is you hate Elmer Fudd because he's a cartoon character but you love Bugs Bunny because he's a cartoon character. You're saying it's a sim so it's understandable that this mathematical impossibility happened. The program is designed so your players get a specific number of steals no matter your setting and the only way that can be done is by the scammers who show ads on this non-simulation, predetermined stats site. It's not real so a guy hitting 24 HR's in 6 games is fine with you. When you have no argument just pull it out your behind, right?

Re: Random For Certain

I couldn't be in politics. What I'm saying is fact. You Sarahs just making it up as you go and twisting yourselves into pretzels to defend a mathematical impossibility that had to be programmed into the game, that's right out of 21st century politics. You guys are both defending this game as unreal as you totally ignore it isn't HAL from 2001 running this site and spending the money. Humans have to put data into this non-simulation game and the data they're putting in is 100% designed to assign stats to players, not simulate anything. Whether or not Alomar and Raines actually steal the base is IRRELEVANT. They're supposed to be attempting to steal ALWAYS and that ALWAYS in this non-simulation game is about 2/3rds. No way that can be explained or defended. If your ugly wife or ugly girlfriend said she was ALWAYS faithful to you, would you expect that always to be 2/3rds of the time? You're simply morons who won't admit you've wasted time playing a predetermined, non-simulation game. Your wife cheated on you but you'd rather believe you're all she needs.

Re: Re: Random For Certain

JasonOD, I challenge you to a duel including 4 different categories - math, English, diplomacy, and common sense. I'm quite confident, based on all of your posts so far, that I would go 4 for 4 against you. I would say that you sound like a spoiled little 12-year old, but that would be unfair to all the other 12-year olds out there who are much smarter, and behave much better, than you. Now please go away and create your own Sim. Maybe set up some bases in your back yard and play "Tim Raines Sim Baseball" and steal 100% of the time with nobody to stop you. Good riddance.

Re: Random For Certain

OD wants to steal 100% of time with 87 Tim Raines. He supposedly attempted 60 steals that year, meanwhile he had 175 hits, 90 walks, so was on base at least 265 times, yet only attempted 60 times. If you want to talk unrealistic, let's talk about going for 100% with Tim Raines.

We know it is unrealistic d***head. I once had DeGrom strike out Babe Ruth in an ATG league, yet they played 100 years apart. Why don't you go call upstairs and have your mommy make you some more Totinos Pizza Rolls, to feed her hungry guy.

Re: Re: Random For Certain

It would be interesting if a player would attempt to steal the exact percentage dictated by the manager.

Then, gbacci would absolutely have to add controls for the opposing team to counter the steal; of course, the sim has to counter the steal in the exact percentages we set for each of the following:
1. Percentage of times to try a pick off
2. Percentage of times to pitch-out
3. Percentage of times to try the hidden ball trick
4. Percentage of times to quick pitch
5. Percentage of times to throw at Raines' head because he stole a base in the previous game when his team was up by 8 runs in the ninth inning
6. Percentage of times Raines is drilled in the thigh, middle back, or arm for stealing bases in situations less egregious than the ninth inning example in number 5 of this list.
7. Percentage of times Raines' teammates get in his face in the dugout for trying to pad his steal stats

I, personally, would simply set my pitch-out to 100%, since I already know Raines is stealing 100% of the time. Even Piazza could throw him out most of the time with a pitch-out. I probably shouldn't give out my strategy.

I'm hoping gbacci comes around on this 100% steal idea and starts the four years of programming to make the 100% steal attempts as realistic as possible, which, of course, would require the opposing team to have realistic counters.

Re: Random For Certain

Been on this site a long time, never have seen a guy hit 24 homers in 6 games. Never spent a dime and have won 14 rings, so there goes that argument.Been playing baseball sims for 45 years , this is one of the best.

Re: Re: Random For Certain

87 Raines stole 50 bases 5 CS and he also was HBP 4 times while also reaching base on a fielders choice many times

100% of the time he HAS to steal? Bottom of the 9th - Reds 3 Expos 2 with 2 outs, Raines doubles, he HAS to try to steal 3rd?

MORONIC

Re: Random For Certain

I agree with Gus. He would win all four categories even though he is above average in only one of them.

Re: Random For Certain

I have to take a break from this highly entertaining thread to spin around the block in my lambo that I bought with PC ad money I scammed from y’all. Suckers!!

Re: Re: Random For Certain

I like mittens.....

Re: Re: Random For Certain

And who the **** is Sarah?

Re: Random For Certain

I wonder if he sees the irony that he complains ad nauseum about realism yet his team is named the roswell aliens and his home stadium is area 51

Re: Re: Random For Certain

who cares? It's a game that noone is forcing u to play, its not life or death!

Re: Re: Random For Certain

LMAO

Re: Random For Certain

Jason quit being a little ****!

Signed,
The rest of us.

Re: Random For Certain

I wonder if this guy has ever watched a game in real life? Unless Raines goes on the first pitch every time he gets on base, and the manager has told the batter never to swing, then there is no way to guarantee 100% steal attempts. He is arguing that the free sim is not unrealistic enough, costs too much money, and that everyone else here is the idiot. Yikes

Re: Re: Random For Certain

Have I ever watched a game? Yes, I was watching back when Morneau wasn't striking out twice as much in real baseball as he is in this game. You stoned math failure Sarah's are defending a sim that would give Bonds 140 HR's instead of the 73 he hit. You're defending 100% only happening 60% or less of the time as if the sun not coming up could happen. Go back to smoking your joint because you ain't funny and you have nothing but stoner "logic" on your side. There isn't one setting on my strategy page that has resulted in my team doing any of that stuff other than take a pitcher out after so many runs. You can't defend that logically and yet you defend it anyway. That's not a sim problem. That's a built in screw job by scammers/creators of this con. None of the other settings have been applied the way I have the set to play out and you morons are talking about baseball as if this built in screwing has anything to do with baseball. Every setting being completely ignored isn't a "quirk" in the simulation and not runners getting bad jumps you don't know your a-s^ses from a baseball moron addicts and stoners.

Re: Random For Certain

We, myself included, need to stop giving this guy his giggles. He is obviously a troll and wants a response, or he is too ignorant or stubborn (or both) to listen to other people and attempt to learn. This is the last time I am going to respond regarding his posts, and I suggest the rest of PC stop responding to him as well. If it bothers you that much, then do like others have suggested and just leave.

Re: Random For Certain

Stop trying to make "Sarah" happen- it's not going to happen

Re: Re: Random For Certain

I believe Sarah is actually Brandon in drag.............

Re: Random For Certain

I see what you did there, made the thread political so it would get deleted. LMAO :)

Re: Re: Random For Certain

There are so many self-owns in each one of his posts that I feel like it must be someone doing this as a joke.

Re: Random For Certain

Yes, I'm on team Joke.
