Anyone broadcasting their sim games?

Anyone broadcasting their sim games?

Today my friends and I kicked off opening day for our newly minted custom league. Since we're all sports starved and have a lot of free time on our hands during these stay-at-home times, a few of us got together over a Google Hangout and I screen shared the "watch" box and we cheered and jeered each other's teams.

I streamed almost half of the league's Day 1 games (whichever teams had managers present), there were some REALLY exciting games and it was a lot more fun than I would have guessed. We saw a great pitching duel unfold during one game, Ron Northey catch fire and go 3 for 3 with 3 home runs in another and a couple of late game comebacks.

I noticed everyone in your league is a new user...all friends?

Re: Re: Anyone broadcasting their sim g

Yes, I've wanted to run an in-person strat-o-matic league (of any sport) with my friends since I was a kid but meeting up regularly was always too complicated because we all share so many hobbies (largely playing sports) already.

As soon as I found PennantChase I realized I could make that a reality! I was surprised we filled a 12 team league so easily, I figured we'd be able to get maybe 8 friends together, but it's nerdy enough to appeal to the people that like numbers and simulations and historic and baseball enough to appeal to the baseball fans I know. We're stoked, and our league may be expanding in the future.
