but doing the math even with the 20% stat boost his avg would only go up to 0.166 which is still horrible

Thats not how Slump Buster works, if a guy has a .300 AVG and he falls below .220 when you put him in Slump Buster he will bat like his average is .360
This is why you aren't ready to be a commissioner

He had nothing to do with anything with this post either...yet he posts. Thanks gbacci for ending the board madness...something posted on every topic and most cases it added nothing positive to it.
Side note: can’t use slump bust until 50 ABs anyways...Rolen is scary if slump bust works when available

You posted something about Slump Buster that was contrary to how it actually works, and in fairness, by letting you know the truth about it, I was doing you a kindness, now you know.
My further statement about you not possessing the requirements to be a commissioner? I guess could be viewed as a shot at you but you also could simply have taken it for what it was supposed to be, an example to show you that you are not ready.
And in that trade I previously mentioned- The 91 ranked Pitcher you traded away? he had a 6.19 ERA meaning the new owner can Slump Bust him for the rest of the Season and playoffs.
So you traded a 0.768 whip, 4.96 H/9 and 11.88 K/9 pitcher for a 91 ranked, DH/1B when you already had 4 1B -
You just possibly changed the entire outcome of that League to " Win a few more games down the Stretch"
