Mariners horrible pitching

Mariners horrible pitching

The ms are halfway thru the season and have allowed 495 runs. that's almost 1000 for a season.anyone remember the last time a team gave up 1000 in a season.im looking up on bb ref so far 1914 braves were called a diff name then 1000 plus.

Re: Mariners horrible pitching

Fastest (not all that fast, but only a 15 min task) way is go to click on each franchise, then their franchise pages, then "More Team X Pages" and click on pitching, sort each season by Runs Allowed to see if that franchise ever gave up 1,000. I checked NYY, TBR, BOS already for heck of it. 944 in '07 allowed by the Rays was the most of those 3 teams anyway. Lol

Re: Mariners horrible pitching

The 1890 Cleveland Infants gave up 1027 runs in 130 games. I remember that team, they were such babies...

Re: Mariners horrible pitching

BAL is at 481 in 4 less games. Good competition.

Re: Re: Mariners horrible pitching

1996 tigers gave up 1103 runs.im going to spend some time and look up each team.

Re: Mariners horrible pitching

wow, they sure are missing edwin diaz to lock down games late and robby cano to bring professionalism to the team...
