Worst record to make playoffs ?
Wow spectacular! That has to be the greatest disparity between divisions I've ever seen. Ruth League 570-402 .586 and Robinson League 402-570 .414
The only reason I made the playoffs was that I had winning record vs Pickers. What would really be funny is if the Brewers win the title.
The Brewers won their series and now will play my team for the title , and they have won the first 2 games. They finished 75-87 in the reg season.
They won 4-2, 75-87 reg season, this might well be the worst team to win a title and it came at my expense. Just goes to prove you can never give up on a season.
I know over the years there has probably been thousands of leagues so crazy results may occasionally happen. But in real life no losing team has ever won the World Series Super Bowl or NBA finals. I know an 8 seed won the Stanley Cup but don’t know if they had a losing record.
I remember the 7-9 seahawks beat the defending super bowl champ the saints on a play known as the beastquake. Marshawn Lynch scored a td that caused the crowd to get so loud it was recorded at the local seismograph office. As far as MLB goes 1973 Mets made the world series with a n 83-79 record
