An Apology

An Apology

Okay, this may get me in some trouble but I feel like this needs to be said - Though this account has no history, I once was dmoney4life91 on this site. Made some questionable decisions and enemies as I was a young and immature kid. After going ghost from that account for about a year, I created another account (genuinely forget the user, some vets may remember) where I was eventually "outed" as dmoney4life91 - and understandably my toxic reputation followed. All this being said, I'm now in a much healthier space, have grown as a person, and created this account in hopes of getting back to a site I once loved. Hopefully, any users who have a negative view of me from my other accounts will give me another chance. If not, I completely understand - and Gbacci I hope you allow me to have this account. Thank you all, and I look forward to rebuilding my reputation if I'm allowed.

Re: An Apology

*Slight edit*

No 91 at the end of dmoney4life91

And my other account was dholmes98

Re: An Apology

Remember me? From Gus's All Yankees League, a few years ago?

Because I remember you QUITE well

I was just trying to give you some friendly advice. You didn't want my advice, but instead of simply politely declining said advice you instead decided to verbally attack me in chat

This is the first time I've directly spoken to you since that encounter

And btw, the new username doesn't inspire much confidence that the apology is genuine, just an fyi

Re: Re: An Apology

If people can't forgive you on here....that's on them bro......I remember who you are .....welcome back

Re: An Apology

I am not saying outright that I won't forgive him. I'm not that kind of guy

What I AM going to say is it will not be an easy road to earn that forgiveness from the PC community at large

The ball is in his court

Re: Re: An Apology

Not making excuses for my actions, but I only vaguely remember your username and the league itself. No recollection of how it ended.

If you decided not to forgive me, as I said, so be it and I understand.

Thanks for the advice!

Re: An Apology

Great to be back!

Re: Re: An Apology

Thanks for your response.

That was my reasoning for coming out right off the rip and making this post. I understand most may not forgive and forget - and for others it might take longer for me to regain trust.

All I'm asking for is a chance.

Re: An Apology

I think that's a reasonable request. But for most, this might be your last chance. So try not to blow it this time

But also don't expect everyone to be as open to it as others might be. The way people react to this will vary from person to person

Re: Re: An Apology

I' know for sure it's not easy to take advice sometimes.....Lord knows I made my share of mistakes and had to learn. If he shows that he's sincere, he'll be forgiven in time. He just need to understand that for some it will go faster then others. I had to earn respect back from owners, and hopefully he will too

Re: An Apology

My thoughts exactly

Re: Re: An Apology

It's worth noting we do get people who join this site very early in their young lives. Some of them are amazingly mature at a young age, but not everyone is like that. I have to believe some of them will grow up and shudder at how they acted in the past. I hope your new run on PC is a success.

Re: An Apology

I look forward to creating a better reputation under this name, and I thank you for your understanding GB and for allowing me to keep this account.

Re: Re: An Apology

Welcome back. Glad to have any PC'er who chats and posts on the board.
