re: the new Box Score page
re: the new Box Score page
Is there a way to have the option not to have the box score and play-by-play automatically appear side-by-side on the same page as now happens after the latest tweaking?
If I don't have time to watch a game play out on that separate 'WATCH" screen with the ballfield and display of fielders by position, I've always slowly scrolled down the play-by-play and waited until I get to the final score before opening up the box score. Now there's seemingly no way to maintain suspense without using the 'WATCH' option (which is more time-consuming but might turn out to be more of a go-to if there are some significant tweaks as part of the updating).
Is this an issue for any others or do most folks skip the play-by-play and just go straight to the box scores?
Thanks as always to the care put into managing the site on all levels.

@Nuroc the "hide box score" feature wasn't loaded yet, it's working now and should now work the same as it did before...

Excellent! Thanks much!
Just curious: are there going to be changes made to the way a game plays out in 'WATCH' mode? The existing format works fine, especially when muted, but it seems like the ripest field in terms of enhancing, although I suspect most intricacies would be memory gobblers, otherwise I'm guessing there'd be the day when AI could visually depict Sandy Koufax pitching to Babe Ruth and Julio Rodriguez chasing down the resultant fly ball to deep center.

I’ve been thinking through some ideas. Stay tuned on that. It won’t be right away but I am hoping to improve it.

Hi,
As others have said, the "triples" narrative in the new box score format appears not to match the rest of the box score.
