My first no-hitter!

My first no-hitter!

Wilbur Wood just pitched my first no-hitter! How often does that happen in this game? I wonder if it's more or less often than in real-life.

Re: My first no-hitter!

Congrats!!! I feel like it happens more here especially when fire and slump buster are mixed in.

Re: Re: My first no-hitter!

That's what I thought. And even though the pitchers face stronger hitting than usual there are also a lot more good pitchers that could potentially get a no-hitter.

Re: Re: My first no-hitter!

Is there any way to tell when a pitcher is "on fire"? The hitters get the little fire symbol next to their name but there doesn't seem to be any indicator for the pitchers

Re: My first no-hitter!

Correct, there is no Fire Indicator for Pitchers

Re: Re: My first no-hitter!

Is it possible to have a hitter and a pitcher on your team both "on fire" in the same game?

Re: My first no-hitter!

Yes, you can have both a hitter and pitcher on Fire, but there is no Fire Indicator for Pitchers, it's usually notated on the League Page in games results headlines

Re: My first no-hitter!

Congratulations and many more

Re: Re: My first no-hitter!

Congrats! I wish the system kept track if a pitcher tossed a no-hitter or struck 17+ batters, or any most unusual event.

Re: My first no-hitter!

Yeah. It would also be great if you could download individual box scores. A few days later on the same team Vida Blue just missed getting one too. Gave up 2 unearned runs on 1 hit and 0 walks.

Re: Re: My first no-hitter!

I agree with gpsman , one of the coolest things to add would be a page for custom leagues that kept track of single game records and hitting streaks or scoreless inning streaks and so on.

Re: My first no-hitter!

agree with mr bubbles - that would be great to have a page to keep track of that stuff. As a workaround, you can make awards to notate these things on the individual player page

And if you don't mind messing around with html a little - you can embed excel sheets into your history page and track whatever you want
