New Ball

New Ball

I'm sure we've all heard about the MLB changing the balls to reduce homer number, but this season we've seen a drastic change as through just a fourth of the season we have 6 no hitters, the record is 7.

I want to hear some opinions, is this good? bad? what do you all think.

Personally, I like it! I'm a pitcher and I love seeing two pitchers battling it out. I think that maybe this is rediculous, but I also think the ball may not be the reason for this. I did some research on the 6 pitchers who have thrown no hitters, none of them have an average fastball velocity above 95. Maybe this means that the game is changing?

Re: New Ball

Sounds like superior training pays off again! That and ye olde luck for the pitchers
