Baffled & Frazzled.
Baffled & Frazzled.
How can the sim manager allow a pitcher to remain in a 3-2 game after walking FIVE batters in a row? The very next game I blew a 9-1 lead in the ninth. NINE runs were scored to humiliate this gamer as my sim mgr left the pitcher in the game as NO MLB mgr would EVER do...and it all kept blowing up on the mound. Crazy things are starting to occur too much in my recent experience here after years of enjoyment. It is baffling how the sim mgr screws up games in ways never seen. I am close to moving on for good, as it was the basic authenticity that drew me to PC and kept me here for years. I may just be sour grapes but something ain't right from my view. The stuff that could never happen in MLB games. It has become more aggravating than fun for my crabby ass because of the basic baseball 101 moves that the sim manager simply does NOT make. I feel better having globally purged ALL before PC alums. :)
Re: Baffled & Frazzled.
I found the blown lead game, which was a 7-1 lead in 9th, giving up 9 runs thanks to 3 errors and a HR by a guy who doesn't hit many. Definitely fluky and frustrating. I couldn't find the 5 straight walks game, though there's nothing in the sim that would prevent him from pitching more if he hadn't reached his pitch count or runs given up limit.
Re: Re: Baffled & Frazzled.
I apologize... it was four straight walks from Gullet. Thanks for looking into the situation. I just get fed up and **** and I shouldn't be such a 70-year-old child. But I AM and I apologize in advance. :)
Re: Baffled & Frazzled.
I get ya. I'm 70 and going thru a tough stretch in PC land. Every team I put together plays like an amateur softball team. I compare my teams to winning teams and the differences are miniscule. Luck of the draw I guess. Waiting for the what goes around comes around. But I do love this game. Willie making the basket catch, the Mick driving the ball into the stratosphere. Love this game.
